In September 2015, Bethany Sattovia, speech therapist at The Westchester House in Chesterfield, Missouri, received Life Care Centers of America's 2014 Central Division Whatever It Takes And Then Some Award for an act of extraordinary kindness. Sattovia always places residents as the highest priority. She was nominated for teaching a patient to read, bringing in her own books and assigning him homework. On his day of discharge, she accompanied this resident around the facility so he could read a thank-you speech he had written to associates in various departments. Because of her encouragement and help, he attained one of his lifelong goals.
Sattovia's story is just one of many tales of exceptional customer service and care found throughout our skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers.
